I am in a 30 year committed life partnership and we have a lot going on.  We live in the desert of Southern Calif. in the foothills.  I have had Lupus for the past 11 years.  In spite of this, I am lucky to be able to do many things.  Slowly, but I can do them.

I am an old crone, lol!  I love to read, play on the computer and read.  Oh and I also love to read <eg>

We have 6 dogs, 9 cats, a Senegal parrot and a cornsnake.  The snake is mine, the bird is my partner's. We are currently nursing 3 orphaned kittens.  Three more weeks of that and we can give them some new homes, yippee!  We also have a foster daughter 31, a biological son 20 and our foster daughter has given us a beautiful granddaughter 3, who we spoil rotten.

Addendum to above:  The 3 kittens ended up staying.  Uh, yeah another, "Sure, Honey, we'll find them homes, I promise!"  Ah well...the little grey male contracted and infection and succumbed to the illness from it at about 2 months old.  He was healthy as a little horse but Goddess decided She needed him, so he left us.  I don't always understand Her ways, but She is nature, after all.  In any case, we haven't needed to rescue anything else in the past few months, so there's progress, lol!  My son and his fiance have adopted a pair of rats, but that's their responsibility, not mine!!
